TLC’s festival returns with show hosts

-

TRAVEL and lifestyle channel TLC is bringing back the TLC Festival to the Philippines on Nov. 4. Last year, more than 100,000 Filipino fans thronged to the festival. This year’s edition, themed “Go Lokal,” is a celebration of all things Filipino, showcasing some of the best that the Philippines has to offer.

The festival will kick off at 10 a.m. on Bonifacio High Street and feature food, entertainment, and a stellar celebrity lineup. Comedian Eri Neeman once again hosts the event, which will be headlined by some of TLC’s most popular celebrities — Cake Boss Buddy Valastro and celebrity chef Luke Nguyen, and Patty Lee and Sharon Huang who host TLC’s Fun Taiwan series. Look out for familiar faces Ramon Bautista, RA Rivera, Jun Sabayton, Lourd De Veyra, and Angel Rivero from Discovery Channel’s You Have

Been Warned Asia, as well as Troy Montero from Worst Vacation Ever. Aside from a cake workshop (The Cake Boss just might drop by), chef Nguyen will be giving out cooking tips and talk about his latest gastronomical escapades from Luke Nguyen’s Street Food

Asia at the TLC Kitchen.

The festival will have three zones — Kanto Kultura (music), Byaheng Bayan (shopping), and Street Sarap (food festival). Ely Buendia will dominate the evening at the main stage.

Admission is free, and there are many activities for the whole family. Register online at www.tlcfestival.com by Oct. 30 to get a limited edition TLC gift.
