ETON PROPERTIES Philippines, Inc. has topped off its fifth building for business process outsourcing (BPO) firms in Quezon City.

The property firm of billionaire Lucio C. Tan announced on Wednesday that it has finished construction of the 25-storey building called Centris Cyberpod Five. The tower is located within Eton Centris, the company’s 12-hectare township located across the Metro Rail Transit’s Quezon Avenue station in Quezon City.

“We are confident that Centris Cyberpod Five will be another testament to Eton Properties’ commitment to deliver quality and efficiency in our office developments,” Eton Properties Chief Operating Officer Josefino C. Lucas was quoted as saying in a statement.

The fifth BPO facility covers 39,992.28 square meters (sq.m.), adding to the 89,261.34 sq.m. of leasable space in the first four buildings. Among the tenants inside the Centris complex are Alorica, Wipro, Hewlett Packard, Convergys, Accenture, and Cybersoft, according to the company’s Web site.

Other than BPO buildings, Eton Centris also houses the two-level commercial center Centris Station, which also stands alongside a hypermart and a strip mall which contains a mix of restaurants and other retailing tenants.

Meanwhile, the company also has other office developments outside Eton Centris, namely the Eton Cyberpod Corinthian in Ortigas Center.

Eton Properties booked a net income of P174 million in the first half of 2017, 31% higher year-on-year on the back of higher lease rates from its BPO office buildings which are fully-leased out. The company also looks to expand its office and retail space through WestEnd Square located in Pasong Tamo, Makati. —
