At Eastwood City’s “Game of Bones,” kids and pets in costume can win cool prizes while taking part in Trick or Treating and thematic activities like the sword fight training, dragon and castle inflatables, archery, and the Iron Throne photobooth. Over at Fuente Circle, partyphiles can enjoy DJ-led parties hosted along Eastwood City Walk. Here guests can also catch sightings of creepy mimes and monsters. EASTWOOD Richmonde’s terror-themed party will be movie-inspired this year. Aptly titled “Haunted Hollywood,” the kid-friendly event, happening on Oct. 29, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., will include a hearty snack buffet with drinks, assorted snack stations, a magic show for the little ones, a Horror House for kids and the kids at heart, games, glitter tattoos, photo booth, and a loot bag of goodies. THE Marriott Manila makes Halloween more fun and frightening with multiple Hallow’s Eve Carnivals on Oct. 29 brunch (11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.) at P2,600/person, Oct. 29 and 31 dinner (6 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.) both at P2,100/ person. DREAMPLAY, the DreamWorks-inspired interactive play space at City of Dreams Manila, will hold its annual “Spookfest,” a Halloween adventure, from Oct. 28 to Nov. 1, with games, activities, special performances, and prizes. Goblin Run
THE Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila presents “Goblin Run 2017: Sofitel’s Halloween Fair” on Oct. 29. In collaboration with one of the country’s leading running event organizers, Thinksportsph, the “Goblin Run” takes off from Sofitel’s Harbor Garden Tent and is held for the benefit of the children of Virlanie Foundation. The “Goblin Run” will feature two categories — 3K and 5K — with start and end points at Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila. The race starts at 5 p.m. for the 5K race and 5:10 p.m. for the 3K. The fun commences with a Halloween-themed foam cannon as the run takes participants through a panoramic view of metropolitan Manila and the CCP Complex. Obstacles like inflatables, a water cannon, and net crawl await runners. Over at the Harbor Garden Tent are fun treats, a goblin-mansion themed photobooth, face painting activities, and special games for kids and kids-at-heart.
