Roberts kicks off 25th year, inaugurates new machines
ROBERTS Automotive and Industrial Parts Manufacturing Corporation (Roberts AIPMC), an RGC/Uratex company recognized for providing high quality local automotive parts is celebrating 25 years of business.
From its small 1992 beginnings, the RGC/ Uratex Group affiliate has since grown and become one of the country’s biggest manufacturers in the industry.
During the past 25 years, Roberts AIPMC has stayed true to its mission of “meeting and surpassing customer needs and expectations by having world class Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) standard products and services.”
They continued to maintain leadership in the aftermarket sales and has proven strong ties with major OEM companies like Mitsubishi, Toyota and Honda.
Roberts AIPMC was recognized by the Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corp. (MMPC) to participate on the development and production of Mitsubishi Mirage, one of the models enrolled in government’s Comprehensive Automotive Resurgence Strategy program.
The company will mark its 25th anniversary by inaugurating its newly purchased machines and facility (600/400 tons press machines and complete facility of spot welding assembly) to be utilized under the said program.
Through assistance and technical agreements with Metal Tech Japan and Futaba Japan, the company started the development of Mirage body parts in November 2016. This is a contribution of the RGC Group of Companies to the CARS program which aims to “attract investors, boost the manufacturing capability of the automotive industrial sector of the country and create wide number of jobs for the Filipino people.”
