Marawi schools receive kits, medicines from Unilab

United Laboratori­es, Inc. (Unilab), through Philippine Business for Social Progress (PBSP) represente­d by its Education Senior Program Officer Rommel Gonzales (2nd from right), recently turned over relief goods containing 1,300 sets of teacher kits and Tamang Alaga (RiteCare) kits to the Department of Education (DepEd) Division of Marawi City represente­d by its Assistant Schools Division Superinten­dent (ASDS) Anna Zenaida Unte Alonto (third from left). The kits, which will be distribute­d to teachers of schools affected by the Marawi conflict, contain travel pouches and home remedies. Tamang Alaga is a program of RiteMed, a subsidiary of Unilab, which aims to distribute quality generic medicines to the poor.
