Max’s Restaurant recognized at Investors in People Awards
MAX’S Group, Inc.’s flagship brand, specialty restaurant chain Max’s Restaurant, received two recognitions at the recently concluded Investors in People Awards (IIP), which was held in London, United Kingdom.
Max’s has been named as a leader in people management practice globally, having won in the Excellence in Reward and Recognition category for companies with 500+ employees at the annual IIP awards. The recognition is given to companies that show commitment to their people by identifying right behaviors and performance through exceptional employee recognition strategies.
Additionally, Max’s was named a Finalist in the Silver rankings of the Employer of the Year category for companies with 250 to 4,999 employees, having achieved an “Established” level in seven out of nine indicators of recognized global industry practices. The IIP reserves Silver, Gold and Platinum accreditation to companies that consistently demonstrate a very high degree in people management.
The IIP is a globally recognized accreditation organization composed of over 11,000 organizations from 75 countries that establishes the standard of what takes to be a great employer, how to be an outperforming place to work in, and to have clear commitment to sustained success.
Max’s Restaurant Chief Operating Officer Ariel P. Fermin shared he appreciates the challenges of being benchmarked against global industry practices and that the recognition by the IIP is an affirmation of Max’s commitment to employee development and welfare.
“Winning at the IIP demonstrates Max’s commitment to recognizing and rewarding our people who also share in our passion to delight our customers through our products and services,” Mr. Fermin said.
MGI President and Chief Executive Officer Robert F. Trota added that their team members are critical in the delivery of their customer promise.
