RMN launches broadcast journalism course

-

RADIO Mindanao Networks, Inc. (RMN), the largest radio network in the Philippines, has partnered with the Saint Mutien College (STM) in Pampanga and the Benita & Catalino Yap Foundation (BCYF) to offer an apprentice ship based Broadcast Journalism course through the Asian Finishing School (AFS) of STM. Anchored on the idea that actual work — beyond OJT or practicum — is the best preparation for a job in Broadcast Journalism, students at the AFS will be exposed to all disciplines that may be found in a radio, TV, satellite, online, or cable broadcast network. These include research, music programming, administration, field reporting, news desk, anchoring, marketing and sales, production, and other assignments.
