Pru Life UK celebrates Chinese New Year in Binondo

PRU LIFE UK welcomed the Lunar New Year with a day of festivities in Binondo, Manila — the world’s oldest Chinatown — ahead everyone on Feb. 14. To bring in good luck and fortune this Year of the Earth Dog, the celebration of the Chinese heritage was highlighted by a lion dance at the Pru Life UK China Jade branch located at the ground floor of Escolta Twin Towers in the heart of Chinatown, followed by a marching band along Escolta, Quintin Parades, Ongpin and Dasmariñas Streets. In true Chinese fashion, were also given to spectators to share the good luck. “We are very happy to make tremendous noise to usher in fortune as we welcome the Lunar New Year in Binondo,” said Pru Life UK Senior Vice-President and Chief Marketing Officer Allan Tumbaga.
