Insular Life honors 2017 top sales achievers

Insular Life, the largest Filipino life insurance company, recognized the outstandin­g members of its agency force for their exemplary sales performanc­e in 2017.

This year’s Insular Life Testimonia­l Dinner and Awards Night, held last March 8 at Blue Leaf Filipinas in Parañaque City, had “Gifts InLife” as its theme as Insular Life believes that the sheer dedication and passion of its agency force are gifts not just to the company but to their clients, families and country as a whole.

Insular Life President and Chief Executive Officer Mona Lisa B. Dela Cruz said during her opening remarks that the company will not be able to fulfill its mission of providing life insurance protection to the Filipino community without its dedicated financial advisors, the “InLifers”.

“You are a big gift to Insular Life,” she said. “Your hard work, dedication, persistenc­e and loyalty can never go unnoticed.”

She added that Insular Life has remained committed to its mission amid the everchangi­ng social, political and economic landscape, and endeavored to be a sociallyre­sponsible corporate citizen.

“As such, Insular Life is also a gift to the country for its many efforts in nation building,” Ms. Dela Cruz said.

The awarding ceremony was graced by Insular Life executives, top sales performers, honors club qualifiers, drive qualifiers, services awardees, and members of the media. The night itself was a special gift to all the InLifers for their notable accomplish­ments and efforts last year.

The Gawad Haribon National Award, the most sought- after recognitio­n of the night, was given to Nunnatus A. Cortez, Renato T. Ceniza, Ida S. Jacob, Myrna R. Cortez, Arslie M. Malipero, Krizia Mae A. Blanco, and Eduardo O. Viloria Jr.

InLifers who excelled in their respective divisions were also recognized. Joselito P. Lee, Norma L. Francisco, Teresita P. Bautista, Ralph Louie P. Bautista, Rolando C. Tiongco, Zenaida M. Herrera, Mercedita F. Gurrea, Antonio

Romulo Abrantes, Leonila P. Ceniza, and Cecile C. Gurrea were honored as the Gawad Haribon Divisional Awardees with Raul B. Mabanag and Cecile C. Gurrea as the premium producers of Insular Life.

Other awards and recognitio­ns given during the ceremony were: Agency Service Awards, Insular Life Quality Awards, National Prestige Club, Leaders with Consistent Productivi­ty, Consistent Weekly Producers, General Agents and Managers Associatio­n (GAMA) Internatio­nal Management Award, and Million Dollar Round Table. In an interview with BusinessWo­rld, Rolando Tiongco, Gawad Haribon Divisional Awardee from South Luzon Sales Division, said that there are many reasons which attracted him to join Insular Life, among these is Insular Life’s stability, commitment and “pagtulong sa kapwa”.

He shared that Insular Life is a wellestabl­ished and financiall­y stable company, committed to its mission for more than 100 years now. Thus, he assured that it will never leave the country; and its commitment to policyhold­ers, partners and employees will remain.

When asked what made him stay in the company, he said that it’s mainly because of the company’s warm treatment and support.

“In Insular Life, you are a family and you are treated with love and care,” Mr. Tiongco said. “Everything you need to be successful in business is being provided by this company.”

The awards night is definitely one of Insular Life’s treasured and revered traditions in celebratin­g its achievemen­ts, Insular Life Executive Chairman of the Board Nina D. Aguas said in her speech during the event.

“Every day, we advance the tradition of excellence. We are fortunate to be able to honor everyone who delivered even beyond their own expectatio­ns,” she said.

Ms. Aguas assured that Insular Life will remain, and will continue to be faithful, loyal and aspire for the good of everyone.
