Charriol’s global campaign supports women’s education
QUITE like elegant and exquisite timepieces that mark momentous occasions and milestones, a good education stays with a person like a brand or badge of pride, a reminder of the limitless possibilities proficiency, learning, and hard work allows. Immeasurable as it is timeless, a good education holds the key to a bright future. This is the advocacy behind Charriol’s global initiative to lead the way for young women’s education through the “Watch Me Graduate” campaign.
Now on its third year, Charriol continues its partnership with the Foundation for Professional Training, Inc. (FPTI), a nonprofit organization that promotes a lifelong development for women by conducting formal education and vocational programs through its managed schools and centers. Through the campaign, Charriol will donate P1,000 for ever timepiece sold in any of its branches nationwide from March 1 to April 30. Proceeds will be used to fund the education of FPTI students.
“The Watch Me Graduate campaign is our way to give back to the women in the Philippines. Through our partnership with FPTI, we remain committed to help young Filipinas build a brighter future through formal education and vocational programs. As years come, we hope to continue contributing to help these young women achieve their dreams and make a difference in the field they work in,” said Philippe Charriol.
Since the launch of the campaign, young women like Shirly Anne Angel M. Mendoza, recipient of the Watch Me Graduate Program 2016; Rodaly Robles Montajes, recipient of the Watch Me Graduate Program 2018; and, soon, Jhasmine Remz R. Leano, recipient of the Watch Me Graduate Program 2019 were given not just educational support, but also hope and renewed spirit to become successful.
