New ARANÁZ for Plains & Prints collection launched

-

BACK in 1999, three women founded ARANÁZ — a fashion label that made a name for itself after integrating exotic prints and indigenous artisan crafts in chic, modern handbags. Almost two decades later, ARANÁZ has grown into a name that one cannot miss in the discussion of haute Filipino handbags. The label enjoys a following in both local and international markets, even counting among its patrons some members of European royal families.

Today, the brand’s signature style goes beyond the realm of handbags as Plains & Prints collabs with ARANÁZ for a capsule collection that mixes modern and traditional, as well as elegant and practical.

The ARANÁZ for Plains & Prints collection is a celebration of Filipino artistry and tradition. With a laid-back and effortlessly elegant resort vibe, the collection features eight stylish handbags and seven fashion pieces that combine the unique design elements of ARANÁZ with Plains & Prints’ signature silhouettes and fabric designs.

Plains & Prints took cues from the ARANÁZ aesthetic by translating the luxury label’s iconic flamingo, coconut, and pineapple prints into various pieces that radiate summer sophistication. On the other hand, the bags bear ARANÁZ’s intricate weaves, exquisitely handcrafted using locally sourced materials.

Plains & Prints Vice- President Roxanne Farillas said that the creative process for the collaboration was a delight from start to finish, especially since she shares the Aranáz trio’s passion for local artisanship.
