House­hold ser­vice provider Homek­ing now in the Philip­pines

ES­TAB­LISHED in 2010, Homek­ing is now the largest house­hold ser­vice provider in main­land China with a cus­tomer base of over three mil­lion fam­i­lies, 30 branch com­pa­nies and just last year, re­ported a rev­enue amount­ing to close to RMB 1 bil­lion (US$150 mil­lion).

“With over 660,000 house­hold ser­vice com­pa­nies in China, what dis­tin­guish Homek­ing from the rest are the priv­i­leges its staff en­joy,” said Se­ung Moo Yoo, CEO of Homek­ing Philip­pines, Inc.

He added: “Un­like oth­ers, all Homek­ing house­hold ser­vice at­ten­dants (HSAs) are em­ploy­ees of the com­pany and thus, en­joy sta­ble salary, fol­low an 8-hour work­ing day, with com­plete in­sur­ance pro­tec­tion and fol­low a pro­mo­tion sys­tem sim­i­lar to those work­ing in white-col­lar jobs. Homek­ing has even marked ‘Au­gust 9’ as HSA’s hol­i­day in China. Now, Homek­ing is bring­ing its ex­pe­ri­ence to the Philip­pines by es­tab­lish­ing Homek­ing Philip­pines, Inc.”

Homek­ing Philip­pines an­nounced that be­sides tap­ping premium house­hold ser­vice mar­ket in the Philip­pines, it will make it­self a ma­jor spring­board for the main­land Chi­nese mar­ket to have ac­cess to the best qual­ity and de­pend­able do­mes­tic ser­vice pro­fes­sion­als. “The com­pany strongly be­lieves in our thrust, ‘Global Sourc­ing for World ser­vices’,’’ said Mr. Yoo.

As ex­plained by Mr. Yoo, the said thrust con­veys two things: firstly, by “Global Sourc­ing”, Homek­ing will seek all the best re­sources from all over the world in or­der to pro­vide the high­est stan­dard in house­hold ser­vice at­ten­dant in­dus­try, in­clud­ing pro­vid­ing the best ed­u­ca­tion and train­ing re­sources in house clean­ing, care tak­ing, nanny, but­ler, best busi­ness model, best prod­ucts for house­hold use (such as kitchen ware, toi­letries and other life­style prod­ucts).

Se­condly, Homek­ing in­tends to bring to the world all these top level ser­vices and prod­ucts to­gether with its ma­ture busi­ness and man­age­ment model.
