100 officers of Anvil Business Club are scheduled to fly to Davao City for the induction ceremony on June 30 at the Jade Ballroom of Marco Polo Hotel Davao, with inducting officer and special guest Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte Carpio. This is the first time in the organization’s 27-year history that its induction ceremony will be held outside Metro Manila. Anvil has 450 members from diverse industries.
Anvil Business Club admires the disciplined and economically vibrant city of Davao, which was decisively reformed by its former mayor, President Rodrigo R. Duterte, and is now led by his daughter, the courageous Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio.
Anvil believes Davao City symbolizes the great economic future of the Philippines, and wants to encourage more young entrepreneurs to study economic opportunities and invest outside Metro Manila, especially in resource-rich Mindanao region.
Anvil Business Club, which has become a training ground for outstanding business leaders in different fields, aims to encourage traditional Confucian values among young entrepreneurs, uphold high standards of ethics and civic consciousness, boost entrepreneurial courage and help Philippines’ global competitiveness.
