PLDT supports Department of Education’s Brigada Eskwela

PLDT, through its Community Relations Division, supported the Department of Education (DepEd)’s Brigada Eskwela 2018. As a response to the request of the National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP) “Tabang Pa- Eskwela

sa Tribo”, PLDT has been supporting the far-flung communities in Davao to address the needs of Indigenous People. This year, the company gave away P5,000 worth of slippers to the community. In partnership with the Philippine Business for Social Progress’ Ready for School program, PLDT painted chalkboards and covered 200 books in Navotas National High School. The company has been an advocate of Brigada Eskwela since 2005.
