TWG Tea’s White Sky Tea mooncake collection

IN CELEBRATION of the mid-autumn festival, luxury tea brand TWG Tea launches White Sky Tea Mooncake Collection. The White Sky Tea, which has the fragrance of ylang ylang flowers, features a Yin Zhen white tea in a fruity blend which is meant to pair with TWG Tea’s selection of traditional and snowskin mooncakes. The mooncake flavors are: the Constellation mooncake, a smooth and elegant Singapore Breakfast Tea infused brown lotus filling with a scattering of roasted melon seeds and an embedded salted egg yolk heart within a golden crust; the Harvest mooncake, with mixed almonds, hazelnuts and pecans enveloped in a brown lotus paste infused with Camelot Tea; the Jewel mooncake with a baked chocolate crust filled with Chocolate Tea infused white lotus paste and scattered with chocolate chips; and the Ruby mooncake featuring a blend of apricot and cranberry-inflected white lotus paste infused with Geisha Blossom Tea in a red crust. The Tea-Infused snowskin mooncakes are: Pure, a white satin snowskin mooncake embellished with gold leaf, encasing a smooth white lotus and lemon paste inflected with White Sky Tea and a lotus cream center; the Serenity mooncake, a blush pink snowskin with Earl Grey Fortune Teainfused brown lotus paste, orange marmalade and praline with a white chocolate heart filled with lotus cream; Jade mooncake, a Paris-Singapore Tea-infused white lotus and velvety pistachio paste contrasted by an Amarena cherry heart with jade green snowskin; and the Illumination mooncake, with chestnut and white lotus paste infused with Okayti Tea surrounded by chocolate pearls and a banana passionfruit confit heart encased in an orange snowskin. The White Sky Tea Mooncake gift box of four tea-infused traditional and snowskin mooncakes retails at P2,150 and P2,588 respectively. An individual White Sky Tea Mooncake gift box retails at P498 (traditional mooncake) and P598 (snowskin mooncake). Available at all TWG Tea Salons & Boutiques in the Philippines until Sept. 23.
