Finance execs to tackle innovation challenges

TODAY’S business leaders are confronted with the challenge of innovation with the rise of new disruptive tools and technologies to lead and grow their organizations.

“It’s clearly a question of ‘disrupt’ or ‘die.’ It’s only with innovation that companies can penetrate markets faster, connect to new markets and opportunities, and reach a position where they’re able to survive and thrive,” said Ma. Victoria C. Españo, president of the Financial Executives of the Philippines (FINEX).

The country’s premier professional organization for finance and financial services executives, FINEX is holding the 2018 FINEX Conference on Oct. 12 at the Shangri-La at the Fort in Taguig City, with the theme, “Futureproofing through Innovation.”

Keynoting the plenary session are: Kok Li Peng, the Republic of Singapore’s Ambassador to the Philippines; Alex C. Eng, chairman emeritus of the Institute of Management Accountants’ Global Board of Directors and vice-president for Corporate Finance of EDF Renewables; and Inam Hussain, director for Business Development, Emerging Markets Digital Transformation of Microsoft.
