TODAY’S business leaders are confronted with the challenge of innovation with the rise of new disruptive tools and technologies to lead and grow their organizations.

“It’s clearly a question of ‘disrupt’ or ‘die.’ It’s only with innovation that companies can penetrate markets faster, connect to new markets and opportunities, and reach a position where they’re able to survive and thrive,” said Ma. Victoria C. Españo, president of the Financial Executives of the Philippines (FINEX).

The country’s premier professional organization for finance and financial services executives, FINEX is holding the 2018 FINEX Conference on Oct. 12 at the Shangri-La at the Fort in Taguig City, with the theme, “Futureproofing through Innovation.”

Eng, chairman emeritus of the Institute of Management Accountants’ Global Board of Directors and vice-president for Corporate Finance of EDF Renewables; and Inam Hussain, director for Business Development, Emerging Markets Digital Transformation of Microsoft. Some of the innovation speakers who will share their expertise are: Vincent Tobias, head of innovation at Ayala Corporation; Jojo Guingao, chief digital officer of Aboitiz Equity Ventures; Josiah Go, chairman of Mansmith & Fielders, Inc.; Dr. Jikyeong Kang, president and dean of the Asian institute of Management; Br. “Innovation is a widely used buzzword in the world of business — one that has become synonymous with research, risk taking, standing out from competitors, and adapting to the ripples or waves of disruption happening all around. But what is it really about? And what will it take to successfully innovate? This conference offers thought-provoking insights and deep dives on innovation trends,as well as unique networking opportunities given FINEX’s vast membership of more than 800 finance and business professionals,” said Ms. Españo.
