lights up its grand Christ­mas Tree. Christ­mas at ShangriLa Plaza of­fi­cially be­gan on De­cem­ber 1 with the an­tic­i­pated yearly Christ­mas Tree Lighting. ShangriLa Plaza EVP and Gen­eral Man­ager Lala Fo­jas, for­mer Man­daluy­ong City mayor Ben­hur Aba­los, and Man­daluy­ong City Coun­cilor Charisse Marie Aba­los-Var­gas per­formed the cer­e­mo­nial lighting of the mall’s 50foot Christ­mas tree, con­sid­ered as one of the tallest in the city. The fes­tiv­i­ties then moved to the Shang’s Grand Atrium with per­for­mances from Mark Bautista, Jona, Esang de Tor­res, Ody Sto. Domingo, the Halili-Cruz School of Bal­let and the Man­daluy­ong Chil­dren’s Choir con­ducted by Se­bas­tian Trinidad. The Shang’s grand Christ­mas tree is one of the cen­ter­pieces of the mall’s stun­ning hol­i­day dé­cor in­spired by the great­est show on earth – the Cir­cus. Ex­cit­ing ac­tiv­i­ties and mu­si­cal per­for­mances have also been lined-up for mall guests through­out the month of De­cem­ber.
