Unity ride
Drivers of motorcycle-hailing firm Angkas hold a “Unity Ride” along EDSA yesterday to denounce what they deem government discrimination against two-wheeled vehicles, which under the law are prohibited for use as public transport service. The Supreme Court issued a temporary restraining order (TRO) last week that effectively allowed the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) to apprehend the company’s bikers.
