Pepsi Philippines supports Family Welfare Program Summit

THE DEPARTMENT of Labor and Employment (DOLE) recently launched its first Visayas-wide Family Welfare Summit to enrich the wellbeing of workers across regions 6, 7, and 8. Held in Bacolod City this year, DOLE sought to address the regions’ need for guidance in implementing the Family Welfare Program (FWP), which underlines the importance of worker welfare in strengthening employer-employee relationships as well as promote workplace productivity. During the two-day summit, DOLE and its industry partners provided a series of insightful talks and engaging activities for business owners, HR practitioners and union representatives in attendance. With the theme of “Creating a Culture of Positivity in the Workplace,” DOLE sought to engage companies across Visayas to institutionalize FWP.
