“We treat every client, as if they are our only client.”

- Vision,

IN ITS 25 years of serving its clients, R.S. Bernaldo & Associates (RSBA) sticks to its roots.

When RSBA was starting, its first seven employees — composed of both professionals and administrative officers — did their best to accommodate all clients, treating each of them as crucial. In the words of RSBA’s founder Atty. Rosario S. Bernaldo: “We treat every client, as if they are our only client.” It is with this mantra that employees learned to engage every client and to give each the same quality service as the rest.

RSBA has the sincerity to help its clients in all their needs by providing them an ample, qualified, and dedicated Client Service Team (CST). One of the advantages of a smaller firm like RSBA is that it trains its employees holistically. In turn, employees are more or less equipped with knowledge of corporate and tax compliance.

Aside from being a well-trained team, RSBA’s CST has resources within arm’s length reach. A client can inquire with one person from the CST, and he/she will liaise with firm affiliates Bernaldo, Directo, & Po Law Offices (BDP) and Center for Training Development, Inc. (CTDI), or the firm’s Quality Assurance Unit. Whether clients would like a tax advice or to inquire of other services, RSBA can accommodate all of their needs.

Moreover, if the inquiries would entail a long discussion, such as the adoption of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) 9 and 15, RSBA offers personalized trainings and seminars for its clients. This is aside from the firm’s public seminars, which it conducts at least semi-annually, depending on the changes in PFRS, tax, and the law.

RSBA’s client base is mostly from referrals of friends of friends, law firms, other auditing firms, clients, former employees, and other networks. This is because the firm adheres to its Code of Ethics that they do not solicit their services to potential clients, especially those companies that already have engaged auditors.

Nevertheless, given that clients are satisfied with the firm’s work and how it conducts its business with them, RSBA’s number of clients has increased to 700.
