J&T Express Philippines to host e-commerce symposium

-

WITH THE continuous growth of the ecommerce sector in the Philippines, a strong online presence can ensure success for online entrepreneurs, says J&T Express, the number one express delivery company in Southeast Asia.

J&T Express Philippines Chief Executive Office Dean Ding said that online entrepreneurs should take steps to make their brand even more visible online, especially with the constant growth of the number of Filipino internet users.

Citing a Hootsuite and We Are Social report, Mr. Ding noted that the Philippines now has over 67 million netizens, based on the ‘Digital in 2018.’ A similar report released last January 2019 revealed that Filipinos spend an average of 10 hours and 2 minutes every day using the internet, the longest globally. They also spend an average of five hours and four minutes using social media.

To elevate the discussion on this trend, and to provide a venue for interactive and insightful sessions, J&T Express will be holding the LF: Online Sellers, a symposium on e-commerce and the advantages of using digital platforms to ensure business success, as well as in creating partnerships.

The event will gather some of the top influencers in the country who will share their tips and insights on the way they expanded their brand, garner thousand followers and subscribers, and manage to utilize the online platform to gain an edge in the e-commerce market.

Among these influencers include a beauty and lifestyle vlogger, Rei Germar; an online entrepreneur and fashion enthusiast, Ira Denise Oyco; a celebrated mom-daughter vlogger duo, Haidee and Hazel Quing; and a fashion icon turned vlogger, David Guison.

J&T Express’ LF: Online Sellers event is in line with the company’s commitment to assisting the growth of local e-commerce sectors in gaining an edge in the country’s rising online retail environment.
