Manila Wa­ter app aims to ease set­tling of bills

EAST ZONE wa­ter con­ces­sion­aire Manila Wa­ter Co., Inc. has launched a web-based cus­tomer ap­pli­ca­tion where cus­tomers can ac­cess their wa­ter bills in their homes and of­fices.

Manila Wa­ter Cor­po­rate Strate­gic Af­fairs Group Head Nestor Jeric T. Sevilla Jr. said the “My Manila Wa­ter App” (MMWA) lets seven mil­lion cus­tomers in­quire about their out­stand­ing bal­ances, check their cur­rent billings, and pay their bills with­out risk­ing their safety, amid the coro­n­avirus dis­ease 2019 (COVID-19) pan­demic.

“We fully rec­og­nize the need for mo­bile ap­pli­ca­tions that our cus­tomers can use to min­i­mize travel and ex­po­sure to the COVID-19 in phys­i­cal pay­ment cen­ters. Through this app, our cus­tomers can also lodge di­rectly their con­cerns, re­quests and queries,” he said.
