TWO groups of In­dus­trial En­gi­neer­ing stu­dents from the Tech­no­log­i­cal In­sti­tute of the Philip­pines Que­zon City ( T. I. P. QC) bagged 1st and 3rd place in the Un­der­grad­u­ate Re­search Com­pe­ti­tion cat­e­gory of the 5th North Amer­i­can Con­fer­ence on In­dus­trial En­gi­neer­ing and Op­er­a­tions Man­age­ment ( IEOM) held last Aug. 10-14. The best re­search en­ti­tled Pan­demic Re­sponse Based Health­care Ser­vices Sys­tem Ar­chi­tec­ture Among Ur­ban­ized Com­mu­ni­ties i n The Philip­pines topped the said cat­e­gory. The other win­ning re­search was en­ti­tled Quay Crane Sched­ul­ing Based Prob­lem: A Process Op­ti­miza­tion For An In­ter­na­tional Con­tainer Ter­mi­nal in the Philip­pines.
