BeautyCON 2024 gathers over 130 beauty, personal care brands

THE FIRST-EVER BeautyCON, made possible by Watsons, SM Beauty, and LOOK At Me, brought together more than 130 beauty and personal care brands under one roof.

Touted as the biggest beauty event of the year, the four-day festival of sorts held last March 20-23, at the SMX Convention Center Halls 1 & 2 gave free entrance for all Watsons Club, SMAC, and LOOK At Me members. Attendees were treated to an engaging shopping spree as a lot of participat­ing brands offered special discounts, deals, and freebies exclusive to the event.

With the theme “Journey Into Beauty,” both experts and enthusiast­s discovered new favorites and shopped for tried-andtested products across all major beauty categories like cosmetics, fragrances, skincare, haircare, body care, and more.

Filipino beauty brands such as Issy Cosmetics, GRWM Cosmetics, Colourette Cosmetics, Absidy Beauty, BLK Cosmetics, Happy Skin Cosmetics, and Vice Cosmetics were a hit; side-byside with trending Asian cult favorites like Hada Labo, Laneige, Beauty of Joseon, Dr. Jart+, Tsubaki, Round Lab, and Rom&nd and more.

Luxury and prestige brands like Calvin Klein, Carolina Herrera, Viktor & Rolf, and Armani, Shiseido, Laura Mercier, Huda Beauty, Kiehl’s, and Lancôme were also among the internatio­nal faves.

Wellness and innovation mixed well as Neutrogena, Celeteque, Dove, Biorderma, Nivea, Ponds, and Olay showcased their latest technologi­es and creations. Shoppers who visited the SkinSmart section would surely want to know more about Kora Organics, First Aid Beauty, Supergoop, and others.

Visitors’ beauty tools were surely updated via Kiss NY, Real Techniques, JML, W Elite, Euroo, and Wet Brush among many others. Add to that Watsons own brands all together such as Naturals by Watsons, Watsons Baby, Dermaction Plus by Watsons, and Collagen by Watsons.

While hair care and styling were taken care of by Kerastase, Manic Panic, and Liese, the male guests gladly discovered new men’s body care and grooming staples from Gilette, Old Spice, and Rexona Men, to name a few.
