SUN LIFE ENDS THE YEAR WITH 17 AWARDS HAUL FROM P.I.F.A.

SUN Life Asset Management Co. Inc. (Slamci) is strongly finishing this year, as it was the most awarded assetmanagement company at the Philippine Investment Funds Association’ s( Pi fa )12 th annual awards night recently held at the Tower Club in Makati City.

The company received 17 awards for its Sun Life Prosperity Funds. Slamci won top honors in five categories: the Sun Life Prosperity Philippines Equity Fund Inc. topped the Three-Year Return Equity Fund: Peso-Denominated category; the Sun Life Prosperity Money Market Fund Inc. outperformed other funds in the One-Year and Three-Year Returns Money Market: Fund category; and the Sun Life Prosperity Dollar Advantage Fund Inc. dominated the Three-Year and Five-Year Returns the Balanced Fund: Foreign Currency-Denominated category.

Meanwhile, the following funds placed second in their respective categories: the Sun Life Prosperity Balanced Fund Inc. in the One-Year Return-Balanced Fund: Peso-Denominated category; the Sun Life Prosperity Bond Fund Inc. in the One-Year Return Bond Fund: PesoDenominated category; the Sun Life Prosperity Dollar Advantage Fund Inc. in the One-Year Return Balanced Fund: Foreign Currency-Denominated category; the Sun Life Prosperity Money Market Fund Inc. in the Five-Year Return Money Market Fund category; and the Sun Life Prosperity Dollar Abundance Fund Inc. in the One-Year Return Bond Fund: Foreign Currency-Denominated category.

Seven Slamci funds were also named in third place: the Sun Life Prosperity Philippine Stock Index Fund Inc. in the One-Year Return Equity Fund: PesoDenominated category; the Sun Life Prosperity Dollar Abundance Fund Inc. in the Three-Year Return Bond Fund: Foreign Currency-Denominated category; Sun Life Prosperity GS Fund Inc. in the One-Year Return Bond Fund: Peso-Denominated category; the Sun Life Prosperity Dollar Wellspring Fund Inc. in the One-Year Return Balanced Fund: Foreign Currency-Denominated category; the Sun Life Prosperity Dynamic Fund Inc. in the One-Year Return Balanced Fund: Peso-Denominated category; the Sun Life Prosperity Balanced Fund Inc. in the Three-Year Return Balanced Fund: Peso-Denominated category; and the Sun Life Prosperity Balanced Fund Inc. in the Five-Year Return Balanced Fund: Peso Denominated category.
