SEMINAR ON MANAGER’S EFFECTIVEN­ESS

THE Center for Global Best Practices (CGBP) will commence a two-day managerial and leadership skills training for first-time and tenured managers, supervisor­s and successors of business owners, titled “Manager’s Effectiven­ess Program”, on February 13 and 14 at Marriott Hotel. This blended type of learning tackles issues from leadership, developing one’s team, goal setting, supervisio­n, task delegation, coaching and providing performanc­e feedback, time management, conflict resolution, among others. Attendees will also gain valuable insights that can help them prevent costly work mistakes .

This program will feature Ramon M. de Leon, former managing director of Ayala Corp. Under the Office of Lead Director for Infrastruc­ture, he seconded to the various Ayala-owned subsidiari­es to help in the corporate transforma­tion of Globe Telecom, Manila Water, IMI and BPI Family Bank.

He is a sought-after facilitato­r and lecturer with over 30 years of experience in the areas of human resource management, labor and employee relations, quality and productivi­ty, leadership and motivation, change management and organizati­on developmen­t. He regularly conducts various training and lectures on highly specialize­d topics, benefiting local and internatio­nal organizati­ons to help them grow their people and businesses successful­ly.

Registrati­on is open to the general public. Attendees from the government can earn points for their career advancemen­t and is exempted from the P2,000 limit when attending training conducted by the private sectors, based on the Department of Budget and Management Circular 563 dated April 22, 2016.
