Showbiz personalities in ICT firm’s brand day concert
SARAH GERONIMO, boy group SB19 and the popular love team of Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla are among the artists featured in Acer Day, the Taiwanese ICT giant biggest brand event of the year and for 2021.
The celebration, which will be launched simultaneously across 10 territories in Asia-pacific, includes rewards, discounts and promotions with the theme “Live Your World.” There will also be a concert later tonight featuring Geronimo, SB19, Bernardo and Padilla. The event, which will be streamed on Acer Philippines’ Facebook page (Acerph) at 8 pm, is going to be hosted by Robi Domingo.
The theme “Live Your World” encourages people to continue living their lives even when they’re stuck at home because of quarantines and lockdowns.
“Live Your World” is also the title of the song for Acer Day 2021 performed by Geronimo, along with Prince from Indonesia, Aina Abdul from Malaysia, GBOYSWAG from Taiwan, Earth Patravee from Thailand, and VP Bá Vương from Vietnam. The song was released Tuesday on Acer’s social-media accounts and in over 60 music digital platforms worldwide.
“Sarah Geronimo is one of the biggest names in the music industry. There was no doubt we would choose her to perform this year for Acer Day. Her talent is really something to look forward to and we cannot wait for everyone to witness what she brought to the table for this year’s festivities,” said Acer Philippines managing director Manuel Wong.
“Most of us are encouraged to stay home and reduce social activities. However, we want to tell everyone that staying at home does not mean you have to be alone. The Acer Day theme of ‘Live Your World’ this year drew inspiration from the belief that all of us can make the best of any situation and continue to live our lives, no matter where we are and what constraints we are under. Technology has broken barriers and enabled people to stay connected even more. We believe music is the best medium to transcend borders and circumstances,” said Andrew Hou, president of Acer Pan Asia-pacific operations.
