Ayala unit to grow business via Anchanto’s technology

Entrego Express Corp., the logistics unit of Ayala Corp., has tapped global cloud company Anchanto to improve its warehousing capabilities and promote better efficiencies in its operations.

The agreement covers the use of Anchanto’s Warehouse Management System (WMS), which will allow entrego to “have seamless connectivity with marketplaces’ seller centers, and have flawless integrations from Point of Sale to the Warehouse and subsequently to the last-mile delivery.”

We strongly believe that order volumes will continue to rise in 2021. e-commerce has already been witnessing an average 8 percent yearon-year growth in the past years, but spiked during the 2020 restrictions as consumers shifted to online shopping. he said the pandemic allowed entrego to grow at a rapid pace, serving 14 brands through e-commerce enablers through its 60 last mile hubs across the Philippines. This, Queng said, pushed entrego to tap Anchanto’s software as a service (Saas) cloud solutions to meet the demand.
