FDA grants EUA to Sinopharm COVID-19 vaccine
THE Food and Drug Administration has granted Emergency Use Authorization to Sinopharm Covid-19 vaccine. According to 2World founder and president, Abdul Razzaq Siddiq, they are more than ready to procure and distribute the vaccine to millions of Filipinos.
“We are ready to procure millions of doses to the Department of Health/interagency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (DOH/
IATF) so the people of the Philippines can have this high efficacy and safest Covid-19 vaccine in the world,” he said. “For more than a year, many companies tried to get distribution of Sinopharm but failed. Finally, our company was able to get the distribution of Sinopharm,”

Besides the plan to procure millions of doses of Sinopharm Covid-19 Vaccine for the Philippine Government, 2World will also be donating 100,000 Vaccine doses to the country.
The Sinopharm vaccine is a vero cell Inactivated vaccine developed by Sinopharm/ China National Pharmaceutical Group/ Wuhan Institute of Biological Products Co., Ltd. Like other vaccines, the Sinopharm vaccine also requires two doses and is injected intramuscularly. It has a shelf life of six months and can be stored in a temperature of 2-8 degree centigrade.
The vaccine is also heavily promoted by President Duterte, having taken the vaccine himself, and he has enjoined his fellow Filipinos to do the same.
