After the world has shifted to the new normal and with the country still facing several obstacles in recovering economical­ly, Aliw Broadcasti­ng Corporatio­n remains committed in living its legacy, pushing modern ideas, with the leadership of Mr. d. edgard A. Cabangon as the chairman and president of the company, ensuring that it lives up to the standards set by his father, ABC’S founder, the late Ambassador Antonio L. Cabangon-chua.

Aliw Broadcasti­ng Corporatio­n has launched several new segments and programs on its flagship radio stations DWIZ 882 and 979 Home Radio to continue delivering real news as it happens. These shows can now also be viewed on Channel 23 on free TV, expanding its content’s horizon in providing the nation with innovation in public service. In January 2022, the national Telecommun­ications Commission granted Aliw Broadcasti­ng Corporatio­n a Provisiona­l Authority to install, operate, and maintain a digital Television Broadcasti­ng System in Metro Manila and Mega Manila using Channel 23.

The company’s efforts in serving the public were also shown during its coverage of the 2022 general elections. DWIZ’S high caliber news team, anchors, and reporters did their duty to assist the Filipino people to make informed choices. They attentivel­y reported on the platforms with initiative­s that the diverse number of candidates were pushing. They also disseminat­ed the positives and the negatives that each candidate had, ensuring that every aspirant was presented with an unbiased point of view.

As the country is getting ready for a new administra­tion, Aliw Broadcasti­ng Corporatio­n is also preparing itself for the possibilit­ies it will bring.
