Some 74 percent of consumers would also make a point of getting a new snack flavor as soon as it comes out. Lastly, familiar snacks appear to be particular­ly important in the current post-pandemic environmen­t. Two-thirds (65 percent) agree they prefer brand name snacks to store brand or generic ones.
