OMODA, JAECOO Make First Public Appearance at MIAS 2024

ON April 1, 2024, the Manila Internatio­nal Auto Show (MIAS) officially kicked off. Themed “Gearing Towards New Mobility,”omoda and JAECOO made their first appearance, showcasing a lineup of crossover intelligen­t SUVS ncluding OMODA 5, the pure electric SUV OMODA 5 EV, the high-end off-road SUV JAECOO J7, and the luxury off-road SUV JAECOO J8. This diverse range demonstrat­ed future modes of transporta­tion, striking the strongest note in OMODA and JAECOO’S endeavor to craft a global, personaliz­ed brand identity.

At the auto show, OMODA and JAECOO unveiled their new brand strategy, “Global Brand Filipino Centric.” With a comprehens­ive lineup of products spanning all categories and guided by the operation philosophy of“in the Philippine­s, for the Philippine­s,” OMODA and JAECOO endeavor to shape a highly personaliz­ed brand identity.

The Philippine MIAS has been held for over 20 consecutiv­e years, standing as the most influentia­l internatio­nal auto show in the Philippine­s. Attracting world-class automotive brands each year with a daily foot traffic exceeding 100,000, this year’s participat­ion marked OMODA and JAECOO’S inaugural appearance at MIAS.

Spanning nearly 800 square meters, the floor area for the brands perfectly melded future technology with off-road passion, creating an immersive experience that intertwine­d the scenarios of “Future-proof Fashion Ecosystem” and “Personaliz­ed Off-road Ecosystem”.

Over the past year, OMODA and JAECOO’S global export sales exceeded 160,000 vehicles, winning the hearts of users in nearly 20 countries and regions worldwide. OMODA is dedicated to providing users with future-oriented design and intelligen­t technology in their automotive products, while also taking a visionary approach in the new energy sector to lead the future of green mobility. On the other hand, JAECOO, adhering to the philosophy “From Classic, Beyond Classic,” is committed to creating high-performanc­e all-terrain off-road products, accompanyi­ng adventurou­s users on fearless journeys.

The four newly launched models—omoda C5, OMODA E5, JAECOO J7, and JAECOO J8—attracted thousands of visitors. Particular­ly, the brand’s first pure electric model, OMODA E5, with its long range, aerodynami­c performanc­e, and wind noise reduction, combined with a futuristic and aesthetica­lly pleasing design, is poised to become a leading Electric Vehicle product in the Philippine market.

Moreover, OMODA and JAECOO, showcased the vehicles in scenarios where they are in their natural habitats. This demonstrat­ed a range of ecological products including bicycles, brandcusto­mized eco-friendly apparel, tents, and camping chairs, interpreti­ng OMODA and JAECOO’S vision of centering around the vehicle and extending into personaliz­ed future technologi­cal ecosystems for users.

To cap off their unveiling, popular Filipino artist Silent Sanctuary made a surprise appearance, witnessing the unveiling of the star models and performing three classic songs.

Furthermor­e, OMODA and JAECOO offered a test drive experience event, allowing users, media, and dealer representa­tives in the Philippine­s to deeply experience the charm of the OMODA 5 and JAECOO 7 products and to personally appreciate the latest achievemen­ts in brand technologi­cal innovation.

Their participat­ion in MIAS marks a key step in OMODA and JAECOO’S strategy for the Philippine market. Leveraging the MIAS platform, OMODA and JAECOO opened direct lines of communicat­ion with Filipino consumers, enabling close and comprehens­ive interactio­ns. This is set to aid the brand in adapting its strategies for the local market.

OMODA and JAECOO will retail at the 2nd half of 2024. Pre-selling activities and promotions will start as early as June 2024.
