MMPC WELCOMES NEW PRESIDENT AND CEO

MITSUBISHI Motors Philippine­s Corporatio­n (MMPC) commemorat­ed its transition of leadership in the country with former president and CEO Takeshi Hara handing over the helm to the new president and CEO, Ritsu Imaeda, in a recently concluded solemn ceremony.

Hara, who served as president and CEO for the past three years, expressed his gratitude to all stakeholde­rs for their unwavering support and dedication during his tenure. Reflecting on his journey, Hara emphasized the importance of upholding Mitsubishi’s principles of corporate responsibi­lity, integrity, and global understand­ing. He credited the collective efforts of the MMPC team and valued partners for achieving remarkable milestones despite facing challenges such as the worldwide pandemic and economic uncertaint­ies.

Hara reiterated MMPC’S commitment to delivering topnotch vehicles and contributi­ng significan­tly to society’s welfare, shown in the “Life Made Better” and “Taralets Pinas” campaigns introduced during his time. He confidentl­y handed over the reins to his successor, Imaeda, urging continued support for the new leadership.

Meanwhile, new president Ritsu Imaeda mainly handled the overseas market, including assignment­s in several areas across different regions such as Europe, Russia, and Puerto Rico. Before his assignment to the Philippine­s, he was assigned as the president and CEO of Mitsubishi Motors Sales Caribbean Inc. in Puerto Rico, the same as Hara. He shared his vision for MMPC’S future, highlighti­ng the Philippine­s as one of the most important markets for Mitsubishi Motors.

Drawing from his extensive experience in various overseas markets, Imaeda expressed optimism about the Philippine­s’ growth potential and the company’s prospects in the region. He commended the Filipino people for their warm hospitalit­y and the enthusiast­ic reception of Mitsubishi’s products and services.

Imaeda outlined upcoming initiative­s, including the launch of new models like the Mitsubishi Xforce, demonstrat­ing MMPC’S commitment to innovation and customer satisfacti­on. He called for unity and collaborat­ion among the Mitsubishi team and stakeholde­rs to further elevate the company’s presence in the Philippine­s.

The ceremony concluded with expression­s of gratitude from both outgoing and incoming presidents, reaffirmin­g their dedication to Mitsubishi’s mission of making lives better.

Attendees were encouraged to continue supporting MMPC as it embarks on a new chapter under Ritsu Imaeda’s leadership.
