If there are many Euro­peans who dine in a restau­rant that serves Euro­pean-in­spired dishes, then you'd know that it's the real thing, and La Vetta Wine Bar & Restau­rant is one such place. The mod­ern in­te­ri­ors of the restau­rant add to the whole din­ing ex­pe­ri­ence, and when paired with the per­fect bot­tle of wine, then it's sheer per­fec­tion. Choos­ing from the menu is quite a chal­lenge, since their best-sell­ers list is a long one, but thank­fully, Jenny Radke of La Vetta gave her rec­om­men­da­tions. If it's a heart-healthy but fill­ing dish you want, the Grilled Nor­we­gian Salmon with truf­fle sauce and tar­ragon tops (P495) is the most ideal dish to have. They are also known for their steak dishes, and a sam­pling of the savory and per­fectly cooked Grilled Aus­tralian Lamb with olive pecorino crust and served with port wine sauce is an ex­cel­lent op­tion. Steak dishes like these range from P600-P700 per serv­ing. If you still have room for dessert–or even if you don't–at least give one of their de­li­cious desserts a try. Beau­ti­fully plated with slices of fresh ap­ple, kiwi, mango, and topped with a cherry, their Sugar-free Chocolate Mousse (P195) made with pure Swiss chocolate is ab­so­lutely heav­enly.
