Justice Zalameda addresses crowd during first SC flag ceremony
New Supreme Court (SC) Associate Justice Rodil Zalameda acknowledges the huge responsibility of being among the final arbiters of legal disputes.
AJ Zalameda is the newest and most junior member of the high bench.
In his address shortly after his first flag ceremony at the SC on 13 August 2019 at the SC New Building courtyard along Padre Faura, Ermita, Manila, Zalameda said: “It is a task that I am not unfamiliar with and it is a responsibility that I am eager to tackle as I begin my journey.”
Prior to his appointment to the High Tribunal, Zalameda was the chairman of the 17th Division of the Court of Appeals.
He is set to retire on 2 August 2033.
