Celebrated as early as 1931, National Heroes’ Day honors and remembers Filipinos, both past and present, who have contributed much to the cause of freedom, justice and nationhood.
Often portrayed as pantheon of distinct and powerful personalities who have managed to get their names in history books by virtue of their words and actions, national heroes are clear emblems of bravery and inspiration.
