Currently, more than 19,000 Mazda3 units have already been delivered since it was first introduced back in 2004, making it the most successful Mazda model on record in the country.

The long wait is finally over. Bermaz Auto Philippines Inc. (BAP) has officially revealed the fourth-generation Mazda3. The latest Mazda3 lineup consists of five variants, two body styles and a pair of power trains to match.

BAP president and CEO Steven Tan led the unveiling of the five, namely: Elite sedan and Sportback, Premium sedan and Sportback and the sole Mazda3 Speed Sportback.

The Elites are powered by the 1.5-liter Skyactiv-G engine while the Premium and the Speed options have the powerful 2.0-liter engine. All these engines are mated to a six-speed automatic transmission with sport mode.

“We are proud to finally introduce the all-new Mazda3 to the Philippine market,” Tan said.

“Mazda has raised the standards of quality, craftsmanship and safety to never-before experienced levels in this class. Through exquisite design, superior finish, refined quietness and engaging vehicle dynamics, owners of the all-new Mazda3 will surely experience class-above driving pleasure.”

According to him, the launch of the new offerings is the “bold new step for Mazda as we deliver on our promise to give our loyal customers the true premium driving experience they deserve.”

Currently, more than 19,000 Mazda3 units have already been delivered since it was first introduced back in 2004, making it the most successful Mazda model on record in the country.

On the global scale, more than six million units have been rolled out since it first became available in the world market.

The newest Mazda3 design embodies two characters with widespread appeal: the free spirit (represented by its overall “Beauty in Subtraction” in design) and the person of dignity with a strong individualistic streak found in the three-box sedan portions.

The standard features across all variants of the latest Mazda3 lineup are the 8.8-inch infotainment display, keyless entry, dynamic stability control and the power windows.

The mid-range (Premium variants) as well as top-of-the-line (Speed) share these features, such as: the Bose sound system, a frameless auto-dimming rearview mirror, a power-adjustable driver’s seat with memory function and adaptive LED headlights.

The Speed variant Sportback has been fitted with Burgundy interior color, deep red hue on the outside to match and leather seats in the cabin.

Price point starts P1.295 million for the Mazda 3 1.5-liter Sedan Elite, followed by the Mazda 3 1.5-liter Sportback Elite with a price tag of P 1.320 million. The Premium variants are at P1.495 million (Mazda 3 2.0-liter Sedan Premium) and P1.510 million (Mazda 3 2.0-liter Sportback Premium).

Further, the Mazda 3 2.0-liter Sportback Speed can be brought home for P1.590 million.
