4 drug peddlers arrested
SAN FERNANDO CITY, Pampanga — Four notorious drug peddlers were arrested here Sunday, according to a report from the Philippine National Police-Police Regional Office 3 (PNP-PRO3) headquarters in Camp Julian Olivas.
The suspects were identified as Acmail Francisco, alias Balbas; Mohammer Haji Ganda and Jalal Mauyag, all high-value targets and residents of Barangay Sangandaan, Quezon City and Michael Evance Villacorta, alias Kim, a watchlisted person and resident of barangay San Isidro in this city.
They were arrested by operatives of the Regional Drug Enforcement Group together with the Special Concern Unit-Regional Intelligence Division 3, and Regional Mobile Force Battalion 302nd Maneuver Company following anti-drug operations along by-pass road, Barangay Sindalan here.
PRO3 Regional Director, Police Brig. Gen. Joel Napoleon Coronel, said the operation forms part of their revitalized anti-illegal drug campaign.
He added that with the community’s support, it will continue to yield positive results in their anti-illegal drug efforts in Region 3.
“We keep on working double time to stop the proliferation of illegal drugs in the region and we appeal to everyone to continue helping us in our campaign against illegal drugs in order to make Central Luzon drug-free,” he said.
