Enter the SM Hypermarket Street Food Festival 2019. Now on its fourth year, people can expect not just tasty food but also discounts and freebies from stalls and booths as well as event-exclusive promos from brands like Knorr, Maggi, Purefoods, Alaska, Bounty Fresh, CDO, Century Del Monte, Farm Fresh, Mekeni and Joy.
Malls are typically the go-to pasyalan of every Filipino family and, as everyone knows, roaming around a big mall, shopping for clothes, groceries and such can make everyone feel tired and hungry.
At the street food festival, crowd-adored food stalls mostly situated in SM Hypermarkets are available.
The biggest gathering of the best Pinoy street food and top food brands also features the popular brands like SM’s Turon with Langka, Bulacan Lugaw Kitchen, Khaleb Shawarma, Super Bagnet, Gloria’s Goto, Sgt. Sisig, Sam’s Everything on Sticks, Ate Rica’s Bacsilog and Mang Larry’s. These street food festival tenants provide everyone’ s favorite meals in a clean and convenient way. And, if by chance the food that someone is looking for can only be found at a certain place that is very far from them, they need not worry because they can satisfy their cravings just by going to the nearest SM or SM Hypermarket.
The bigger, the better
SM Hypermarket Street Food Festival kicked off at the SM Mall of Asia last 9 MANG Larry’s August where they also unveiled Isaw. an eight-foot-long Turon with Langka created by world-renowned chef Boy Logro. The giant SM Hypermarket delicacy was made with 500 pieces of the regular-sized turon with jackfruit. There are also giant ihaw-ihaw (grilled) street foods present where people can take photos with courtesy of Lakbay Museo.
The eight-mall SM Hypermarket Street Food Festival road show continued on to SM City Fairview last 10 to 11 August and SM City Baliwag last 17 to 18 August. Mall-goers in SM City Clark can expect this fantastic food fest on 30 to 31 August, SM Center Pulilan on 6 to 7 September, SM City Molino on 13 to 14 September, SM City Muntinlupa on 20 to 21 September and finally, back to SM MOA on 5 to 6 October.
