Shabu-dealing duo arrested

Two target-listed drug personalities who were in possession of P408,000 worth of shabu were arrested by anti-illegal drugs operatives in Quezon City, Thursday night.

Atty. George Paul Alcovindas, officer-in-charge of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Regional Office-National Capital Region (RO-NCR), identified the suspects as Carlo Gerome Manansala, 27, and Mandy Marco, 34, both residents of Barangay Bagong Silangan, Quezon City.

In a report submitted to PDEA director general Aaron Aquino, Alcovindas said anti-narcotics operatives of the Regional Special Enforcement Team of PDEA RO-NCR arrested the suspects in a buy-bust operation conducted at Paltok, Quezon City on Thursday night.

The suspects were arrested along the sidewalk parking lot beside Landbank along West Avenue, upon allegedly transacting with a PDEA agent posing as a buyer after selling him illegal drugs.
