Maxus Phl extends helping hand with G10 Assist

Our beloved family members with disabilities become more empowered and mobile as the G10 Assist opens a world of new possibilities for them

Maxus Philippines formally unveiled the latest variant that extends love to people with disabilities. Recently, the company formally launched the G10 Assist package at the Blue Leaf Events Pavilion in Taguig, expanding the versatility of the Britishborn brand’s flagship vehicle — the G10 multipurpose vehicle.

The latest offering brings comfort, power and safety features, but adds a customized technological innovation that would make transporting the elderly and persons with disabilities (PWD) so much easy and convenient.

In his welcome remarks, Automobile Central Enterprise, Inc. (ACEI) president Felipe Estrella said that the G10 Assist, can help “our beloved family members with disabilities become more empowered and mobile, as the G10 Assist opens a world of new possibilities for them.”

“’PWD’ can now be enhanced to “PWeDe” as the G10 Assist MAXimizes transport options and MAXimizes assistance with a platform for them to live life to the max. MAX madali ang buhay pag may G10 Assist!” Estrella said.

For his part, Maxus Philippines general manager Reginald See said that this vehicle can now bring family (even their PWD members) in travels and share memorable adventures.

The G10 Assist comes with the programmable swivel lifting seat right at the second row, conveniently beside the sliding door. This seat swivels to face the sidewalk, slides out and can be lowered down to street level so that the elderly or the wheelchair-bound person can easily take the seat, or get off the vehicle.

The programmable swivel lifting seat is easy to operate, via remote control or even through mobile phone via an IOS app. It has a position memory function, path recover function, path obstacle sensor, door interlock, low-power detection and warning, mechanical manual function and anti-tip protection.

The G10 was launched last June 5, along with the V80 vans, wherein Maxus Philippines was also introduced as the sixth automotive brand partner under Ayala groups AC Industrials. It is powered by a Euro4 1.9L turbo diesel common-rail direct injection engine mated to a six-speed automatic transmission that produces 148 horsepower and a 350 N-m of torque.

The spacious, comfortable, safe, yet powerful G10 is offered at a special price of P1, 680,000 and the assist device, as dealer option, is available at an additional cost of just P399,800. The G10 Assist package offers the ideal pricing for the level of technology, comfort, convenience and safety. With that price comes a PMS interval schedule of the first 5,000 kms and every succeeding 10,000 kms, or once a year, whichever comes first. It has a vehicle warranty of three years or 100,000 kms, whichever comes first. Plus, one is entitled to 24/7 emergency roadside assistance, a pick-up and delivery service and on-site servicing for corporate fleet accounts.

The programmable swivel lifting seat is easy to operate.
