BPI urges: Save more, be rewarded

-

The Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) is encouraging Filipinos to discover the importance of saving up and making money work for them over the long term.

“We continue to encourage more Filipinos to save for their aspirations, by providing not just creative deposit products but a satisfying experience by providing instant rewards, like Deposit Real Thrills. It is all about rewarding relationships,” said Carmina Marquez, BPI Head for Deposit Products.

Real Thrills lets BPI clients enjoy free gift cards or certificates to buy gifts from partner merchants, from appliances to gadgets to apparel and more — which is on top of the interest rate that a client enjoys from Maxi-Saver, a savings account that gives better returns than a regular account. It gives higher interest rates for higher balances.

Also, a bonus rate of 0.50 percent p.a. will be credited monthly if the client does not have any debit transactions within the month and Marquez noted that what makes Deposit Real Thrills more exciting this year is the raffle where clients get a chance to win

P1 million each month, tax-free.

To date, BPI has already given two clients their P1-million prize. The first winner, who has been a client of BPI Rosales Branch since 2000, said, “When we were starting our own business, BPI really helped us a lot to grow. I can proudly say that I owe a lot to BPI. BPI is my partner towards progress.”

The second winner, Danica Cervo, has just started banking with BPI a few months ago.

The promo runs until 15 November 2019 and is open to new and existing BPI and BPI Family Savings Bank clients who will deposit fresh funds of at least P250,000 or USD5,000 to a MaxiSaver or BPI Advance savings account.

“We hope that with financial products and programs that delight our clients, we are able to give them more compelling reasons to save and realize their dreams” Ms. Marquez said.
