11TH NEW VESSEL FOR CHELSEA

This marks Chelsea Group’s 11th brand new RoPax made in Japan

Chelsea Logistics and Infrastruc­ture Holdings Corp. (Chelsea) kicked off 2020 with the launch of a brand-new RoRo (roll-on, roll-off) passenger (RoPax) vessel at Kegoya Dock Co. Ltd’s Japan shipyard last 15 January.

Measuring 97.78-meter in length, and with a carrying capacity of 740 passengers, 22 buses and 6 trucks, M/V Starlite Venus is scheduled to be delivered in April 2020.

This marks Chelsea Group’s 11th brand new RoPax made in Japan. Present at the launching ceremony were Chelsea Logistics president and CEO Chryss Alfonsus Damuy, Chelsea Logistics chief finance officer Ignacia Braga IV, Chelsea Logistics Board Consultant Arsenio Benjamin Santos, and

Fleet grows to 74

The newest passenger ferry ship brings Chelsea’s fleet to a total of 74 vessels, consisting of 22 roll-on/roll-of f passenger vessels, 11 fastcrafts, nine cargo ships, 16 tankers, 13 tugboats, and two floating docks through its subsidiari­es Chelsea Shipping Corp., Starlite Ferries, Inc., Trans-Asia Shipping Lines, Incorporat­ed, and Supercat Fast Ferry Corporatio­n. August 2016, It was created as the holding company of the shipping and logistics arm business segments of the Udenna Group of Companies.
