P&G hastens face mask production
Procter & Gamble (P&G) Philippines is accelerating its local production of medical-grade face masks in its plant in Cabuyao City, Laguna to address heightened demand from Filipino frontline workers and citizens as the country battles the COVID-19 pandemic.
The company’s newest manufacturing line, which commenced operations earlier this month, is set to manufacture face masks that will be donated to government and health authorities, as well as partner local government units.
The masks will also be used to help protect P&G employees as they work to produce critically important cleaning, health and hygiene products for the nation.
The company’s medical grade face masks had been examined by a thirdparty testing laboratory to ensure they comply with local and international standards, while passing requirements on bacterial filtration efficacy, splash resistanc and breathability parameters.
