Marco Gallo keeps it moving
But off-screen, Marco gets along well with PPop Generation’s Ashtine Olviga, the actress who plays his love interest in the show
Filipino-Italian Marco Gallo may not be an expert when it comes to acting, but he definitely understands how chemistry works like a pro.
The Pinoy Big Brother 7 alumna, then dubbed as Pilyo Bello of Italy, is cast as Albert in VIVA TV’s Tropang Torpe, a romantic comedy that follows the journey of five braniacs (all named after known scientists, physicists and inventors) who excel in academics but fall faster than Newton’s famous law of gravitation when it comes to love.
Albert may appear as a know-itall, but the poor guy is speechless at times in front of his crush Elaine. Off-screen, however, Marco gets along well with PPop Generation’s Ashtine Olviga, the actress who plays his love interest in the show.
In an Instagram (IG) post, Marco congratulated Ashtine on the release of her latest single “Ulan” and its music video on YouTube a week ago. He said, “Sa maikling panahon, napabelieve ako sa’yo.
Congrats, Ash (I’ve been impressed by you in such a short time. Congratulations, Ash).”
Ashtine released “Ulan,” her rendition of Cueshé’s famous mellow track, a year after the release of her debut single “Sabihin Mo Na” which has gained one million streams on Spotify.
Aside from Tropang Torpe, Marco keeps things moving with his online food venture @kitchenamore_ on IG which started off as a hobby with friends. He sells Oreo Box Cakes for a cheap price because his aim is not really to earn money, but to spend time while in quarantine with a simple hobby.
In an interview with PEP.ph recently, Marco said, “I wanted to bring something made with love; that’s why I personally deliver their orders, straight to them with love.”
Marco was previously in a relationship with Lucy and Richard Gomez’s daughter, Juliana. However, the two called it quits in 2019 before Marco left for Italy to continue his studies.
Before Tropang Torpe, Marco appeared in Loving in Tandem (2017), Harry & Patty (2018), Familia Blondina(2019),Santigwar(2019),The Killer Bride (2019), Maalaala Mo Kaya: Lipstick, Ipaglaban Mo!: Groufie, Alamat ng Ano and Wansapanatym. His latest project, Rooftop, is scheduled to premiere this 2020.
