Top celebrity-vlogger Alex Gonzaga is the first-ever ambassador of homegrown beauty brand Issy & Co. Her active participat­ion in this collaborat­ion has an end goal: to create products that are not too intimidati­ng in line with the brand’s tenet “beauty made easy.”

In choosing Alex as the ambassador, Issy & Co. creative director Joel Marine Andrade shared, “Alex is friendly and relatable, and despite her celebrity status, she’s not intimidati­ng.” That said, the collection is made of beauty must-haves that are a breeze to use.

First is the creme blush for P349 which, for Alex, is the best way to put color on your face and the quickest way to look fresh. Formulated with SPF15 for added sun protection, the crème blush can also be used as a lip color or an eyeshadow base and is available in a peachy tone, pink, a darker brown town, reddish hues and orange.

The highlighte­r slim stick also makes it easier to apply shimmer on the nose line and the cupid’s bow, and can even be blended with the creme blush for a natural soft glow.

Last but not least is the lip mousse priced at P399, a power-packed lip product that’s infused with skin-loving ingredient­s: vitamin E for its moisturizi­ng properties, rosehip oil for its antioxidan­ts and SPF15 to protect the lips from harmful UV rays.

Apart from easy products for a lower price, Issy and Co. is also emerging as one of the local beauty brands promoting inclusivit­y.
