CHICKEN ROTISSERIE IS PANDEMIC-READY
For all store crew, every member stationed at a branch must go through a mandatory temperature check before and after their shifts. His or her vitals are registered to a system
Just like its oven-roasted counterpart Chooks-to-Go, Uling Roasters (UR) has started to make its stores compliant to pandemic safety protocols. Alvin Pasaol got the first chance to have a look at the new-look UR stores. “Dahil isa ako sa ambassadors ng Uling Roasters, gusto ko makita kung gaano ba ka-safe ‘yung kakain ko araw-araw kaya nag-volunteer ako maging crew of the day dito sa isang
branch ng UR sa Bulacan (Because I am one of the ambassadors of Uling Roasters, I want to see for myself how safe it is dining everyday so I volunteered to be part of the crew of the day here in its branch in Bulacan),” said the number two-ranked 3x3 player in the country.
For all store crew, every member stationed at a branch must go through a mandatory temperature check before and after their shifts. His or her vitals are registered to a system.
The crew must also ensure that social distancing procedures are followed in lines. Moreover, all customers are required to go to the hand-sanitizing stations before making their orders.
Acrylic panels and metal sliding trays will also be installed in each counter to assure the customer that no contact will be made between them and the crew. “Uling Roasters has become the standard in charcoal-grilled chicken, especially in the provinces. That is why besides serving the healthiest litson manok (roast chicken) in the market that has no antibiotics ever, gusto namin na
safe ang aming mahal na customers sa aming tindahan (we want our beloved customers to be safe in our stores),” Uling Roasters founder and Bounty Agro Ventures, Inc. (BAVI) president Ronald Mascariñas said.
Acrylic panels and metal sliding trays will also be installed in each counter to assure the customer that no contact will be made between them and the crew.
BAVI is the largest rotisserie chicken company in the Philippines. It is also the country’s second largest poultry integrator, together with sister company Bounty Fresh Foods Inc. Its retail brands include Chooks-to-Go, Uling Roasters, and Adobo Connection. The company also distributes dressed chicken products in supermarkets, wet markets, hotels, and restaurants outside Metro Manila under the Bounty Fresh Chicken brand.
