Going out into civilization nowadays is like going out onto a battlefield but the difference with this medieval scenario and our reality is that the enemy is not visible to the naked eye. Its attacks, though, are just as lethal if one does not come prepared — that is, wearing masks and other personal protective equipment.

One of the struggles people are still currently facing ever since lockdown four months ago is being able to stock on necessities at home as safely as possible. Many have turned to shopping online for everything they need to be able to limit contact from the outside.

For those who are still looking for a reliable produce shop that delivers, Harvest to Goodness Weekend Market at Eastwood City now offers to bring fresh fruits, vegetables and other goods to your doorsteps.

Through the MyKuya shopping service app, as well as cashless deliveries for participating restaurants via LalaFood and Mr. Speedy, people can shop for anything and everything whether it be fruits and vegetables, fish, eggs or even cravings like milktea, ice cream, ramen, skimmed coconut COW Cow milk and yogurt. Ice Cream.

Venue visits as well as curbside pickup are still available should people wish to check the products and the area themselves.

For curbside pickup, customers may call and arrange transactions directly to the farmers or vendors and a pickup location will be designated to them. Contact details are available on the Megaworld Lifestyle Malls Viber communities, website and Facebook page.

This is an initiative of the Department of Agriculture alongside Megaworld Lifestyle Malls and RestoPH.

For visiting guests, the management ensures shoppers safety by implementing the government’s directives, health and safety protocols such as mandatory temperature checks, hand and footwear sanitation, mandatory wearing of face masks and strict observation of social distancing. Harvest to Goodness Weekend Market is an initiative of the Department of Agriculture (DoA) alongside Megaworld Lifestyle Malls and RestoPH.

The farmer’s market concept is similar to DA’s “Kadiwa” project which will run for four consecutive weeks at the Eastwood Central Plaza. The market is open from 24 to 26 July followed by separate legs at Venice Grand Canal in McKinley Hill on 31 July to 2 August and Uptown Bonifacio on 7 to 9 August.
