Pushers nabbed in buy-busts

Three drug suspects were arrested in separate buy-bust operations during the weekend in Quezon City.

Batasan Police Station, under the leadership of PLt. Col. Romulus Gadaoni, arrested Rolly Boy Balasa, 23, at around 7:30 p.m. on 1 August beside Barangay Holy Spirit.

Confiscated from his possession were three grams of suspected shabu valued at P20,400, a sachet of dried marijuana leaves, a glass tube pipe and the buy-bust money.

Anonas Police Station apprehended Roberto Ariston, 40, and Jodel de la Cruz, 27, in a buy-bust operation at around 7 p.m. on 1 August beside the basketball court at Ronas Garden in Barangay Loyola Heights.

Confiscated were three sachets of suspected shabu with an estimated value of P14,348, a cellular phone and the buy-bust money.

The suspects will be charged with violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
