Currently there are 235 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the province wherein 153 patients have recovered, 71 patients are currently confined at a medical facility, while 11 have died.

200 of these cases are from the towns of Pangasinan, while 35 are from Dagupan City.

Meanwhile, the provincial government has launched two Abig Pangasinan Projects on August 1 in Balungao, the Kabuhayan Palengke Karaban and the Kalinisan Karaban.

The two Abig Pangasinan Projects aim to uplift the income of Pangasinense farmers, fisher folks, animal farm growers and other business sectors in the province.

Provincial Board Member Noel Bince said that Governor Amado Espino III has launched another program that will help the Pangasinense during the COVID-19 pandemic. He said that finding a new job is hard especially in this period, so the governor has made his thrust to create work for the unemployed.

The provincial government spent P58,159 to purchase all the vegetables and meat products sold by Balungao small vendors which will be brought to the 14 provincial government-run hospitals to be prepared and served as meals for patients.
